The ZT610 and ZT620 are the same industrial-grade printer at heart — the decision between them almost always comes down to one thing: how wide your labels are.
| ZT610 | ZT620 | |
|---|---|---|
| Print width | Up to 4.09" (104mm) | Up to 6.6" (168mm) |
| Series | ZT600 (premium industrial) | ZT600 (premium industrial) |
| Typical labels | Barcode, shipping, asset, product, RFID labels | Wide pallet, carton, compliance, wide RFID labels |
| Durability & precision | Highest-precision registration, micro-label capability to 3mm | Same ZT600-tier durability and precision |
| Price range (our current stock) | See ZT610 series guide | $5,150 – $6,116 |
Choose ZT610 if your labels fit in 4 inches
The ZT610 is Zebra's mission-critical 4-inch industrial printer, built for standard barcode labels, shipping labels, inventory and asset tags, and RFID labels. If your label format fits within 4 inches, this is almost always the more cost-effective choice. See our dedicated ZT610 series buying guide for the configurations we stock.
Choose ZT620 if you need wider labels
The ZT620 shares the same ZT600-series durability and precision as the ZT610, but prints up to 6.6 inches wide — the right call for wide pallet labels, large carton labels, wide compliance labels, or wide RFID formats that simply won't fit on a 4-inch printer.
A lower-cost alternative: the ZT411
If you don't need the ZT600 series' top-tier precision and duty cycle, the ZT411 (ZT400 series) is a strong advanced 4-inch industrial printer at a lower price point — still built for real industrial barcode, shipping, and production workflows, just positioned a tier below the ZT610.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between the Zebra ZT610 and ZT620?
The main difference is print width: the ZT610 prints up to 4.09 inches (104mm), while the ZT620 prints up to 6.6 inches (168mm). Both share the same ZT600 series durability and core capabilities.
When do I need the wider ZT620 instead of the ZT610?
If your labels are wider than a standard 4-inch format — wide pallet labels, large carton labels, wide compliance or RFID labels — the ZT620 is the correct choice. If your labels fit within 4 inches, the ZT610 is usually the better match and typically costs less.
Is there a cheaper alternative to the ZT610?
The Zebra ZT411 is a step down from the ZT610 in the ZT400 series — still a strong advanced 4-inch industrial printer, but positioned below the ZT600 series' highest-precision, highest-duty tier. We carry ZT411 configurations as a lower-cost 4-inch option.
Do you buy back used Zebra industrial printers?
Yes — working or non-working, any quantity. See Sell Used Label Printers for details.
