About YABA Scan

YABA Scan buys, sells, and rents used and surplus barcode and warehouse equipment. The core of what we do is buying retired and surplus hardware from businesses — then testing it, grading it, and putting it back into service.

What we do

We operate on both sides of the used enterprise hardware market:

• We buy surplus, used, and non-working barcode scanners, rugged mobile computers, label printers, rugged tablets, and their accessories — from a single retired unit up to a full site decommission, anywhere in the US.
• We sell tested used and refurbished equipment from stock, with condition grading on every unit.
• We rent equipment short-term for pilots, audits, seasonal peaks, and temporary fleet coverage.

Brands we specialize in

Zebra, Honeywell, CipherLab, SATO, and Epson. Those are the lines we know best and stock most deeply — but we accept other enterprise brands for buyback too. If you have a model number, we can tell you whether it's something we want.

The equipment categories we handle

Rugged mobile computers and handheld terminals, 1D and 2D barcode scanners (handheld, cordless, presentation, and wearable ring scanners), desktop and industrial thermal label printers, POS receipt printers, rugged tablets, and the charging cradles, batteries, mounts, and keypads that go with them.

How buying from you works

You send a list — model numbers if you have them, quantities, and rough condition. We review it and come back with a quote. If you accept, we provide a prepaid shipping label on qualifying quotes, and pay within a few days of receiving and inspecting the equipment. We exist to make that step simple: one list, one quote, one shipment, paid. YABA Scan is based in Edwardsville, Illinois, in the St. Louis metro area. We buy from and ship to businesses throughout the United States — you don't need to be local to sell to us or buy from us.
